Circuito del Jarama

DATOS TÉCNICOS:

El Circuito del Jarama fue diseñado por el ingeniero holandés Hugenholtz y construido bajo la dirección del ingeniero español Sandro Rocci. Se caracteriza por ser un trazado sumamente técnico y difícil, pero de un alto nivel de seguridad (Grado 2 FIA) Sus trece curvas son de todo tipo, lentas, rápidas, de radio variable, con subidas, bajadas y cambios de peralte. Algunas de ellas son realmente difíciles de trazar bien o tienen distintas trayectorias alternativas.

Está situado en el kilómetro 27,8 de la carretera A- I, Madrid-Burgos, en el término municipal de San Sebastián de los Reyes, al norte de Madrid.

The Jarama Circuit was designed by the Dutch engineer, Hugenholtz and the Spanish engineer Sandro Rocci supervised its construction.  It is known as a highly difficult, technical track but with high safety standards (Grade 2 FIA). There are curves of every type, fast slow,  sharper gentler, up and down hill and with variable camber, of the thirteen in total some are considered really difficult.

The Jarama is situated in the A-I, 27,8 km, from Madrid to Burgos, at the municipal term of San Sebastián de los Reyes, in the north of Madrid.
